Easily reachable by car or by bus, it’s 30 min. far from Etna Hotel. The Old Town is the heart of this city: enjoy the typical narrow streets, the great view from the main square, the beautiful Baia delle Sirene and the amazing Isola Bella.
The river Alcantara flows in a great valley, surrounded by majestic gorges and canyons. Situated in Motta Camastra, 18 km far from Etna Hotel, it’s an attraction that you can’t miss!
Acitrezza, Acicastello and the Ciclopi Coast
Acitrezza and the coast called Riviera dei Ciclopi are legendary attractions that overlook the Ionian sea. Visiting these places, you can’t miss: The protected area of isole dei Ciclopi, the 8 faraglioni, the Norman castle in Acicastello and the pretty fish restaurants on the seaside.

Porto Dell’Etna – Tourist Marina
The tourist marina (1,5 km far from Etna Hotel) is in Riposto, nice town situated on the seaside. If you take a look around this area, don’t miss the typical fish market and the nice restaurants.
One of the most famous beaches on the eastern coast of Sicily is just a few minutes far from Etna Hotel. You can easily reach it by car, by bike or just walking for 15 min.
Spiaggia di Marina di Cottone
Not to be missed, if you visit in this area, is the seaside in Marina di Cottone – Fiumefreddo di Sicilia. A few steps far from the protected natural reserve of Fiumefreddo river, this beach won the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) Bandiera Blu award, for the cleanliness of its water, in 2008 and in 2009.
